I messaged Simon on Christmas evening. Explaining that I had a front door with a Yale lock that had somehow locked from the inside. Simon messaged giving me a date and a time. I contacted Simon on Monday as my patio door had jammed and he turned up as promised Tuesday lunchtime. Apart from adjusting the door, this lovely man showed me how to adjust it myself should the same problem arise in the future. I was so pleased with finding such a helpful tradesman that I will be arranging for him to call after Christmas to check-out (service) all my other doors and windows. Cowes - I lost my key and had no other way to get into my home. I googled ‘local locksmiths’ and Simon at Lockforce was my first call. It was 7:30pm on a freezing cold & dark December evening. He arrived within 30 minutes and I was safely in my home less than 10 minutes later. Lovely gent, very professional and skilled. His fee was more than reasonable and he was genuinely concerned that as a single woman, I was home safe and warm as soon as possible. In a world where you rarely get decent customer service (and usually get fleeced in the process), this experience has restored my faith in humanity. Highly recommend. Went the extra mile. We were locked in - on the 1st visit Simon gained access and fitted an overnight locking mechanism. He took away the whole locking mechanism and fitted a new gearbox and realigned keeps to allow door to lock and unlock properly. Simon was friendly, efficient and professional, and tidied up as he went along. Excellent service at a reasonable price.
